BUZZING BEE REPORTS OPENING STATEMENT The honey bee belongs to the insect family. DESCRIPTION Bees have a thick waist and a thick coat of body hair they have 2 pairs of transport wings. The queen is a large female LOCATION: The bees lives in every continent except the North Pole. BEHAVIOUR Bees collect nectar to make into honey. It stings people to protect itself. They gather nectar and pollen for food. Drones are male that do not work but they will mate with the queen. Workers build the cells in the nest. The queen lays the eggs in the cells. Bees are responsible for making honey. GENERAL STATEMENT Bees are responsible for people by pollinating flowers. We are responsible for bees by not killing them.
